Test results

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice. It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

Patients are able to view test results as they come in and keep track of their glucose levels and cholesterol on their smartphones, enabling them to take greater control of their care and better manage their health.

Phone for your results

Please contact the surgery in 3-4 working days after 2.00pm for blood results. The receptionist is not able to discuss the results with you, but will be able to inform you if the GP has recorded that the test was normal. You may be asked to see the GP or the practice nurse if there were any abnormalities found.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
